First Universalist Church 2014-2015 Pledge Team
David Potyondy and his wife, Lianne Knych, joined First Universalist in 2001. Their two children, Owen (9) and Luca (6) participate in Religious Education, where David has taught for the past six years and made important connections with many of our younger children. He has also participated in Circle Suppers, Family Circle Suppers, and in a number of small groups. He believes serving on the Pledge Team is a good way to help maintain and grow our community. His Pledge Team work has kindled a growing awareness of generosity, and how by cultivating generosity one can grow in spiritual maturity.
Richard Jaeger has been a member of First Universalist since 1998 with his wife Jennifer and has two boys, Benjamin and Elliott. He's been active with the RE program and has been the church auctioneer. Richard has built a large community of friends at church. The pledge team allow him to give back to the community he and Jennifer are a part of in a deeper more meaningful way.
Marcia Wattson was raised Unitarian in Bloomington, IN and at the First Unitarian Society in Minneapolis. She joined First Universalist in 1982, served the Unity Summer program and the Church Board from 2000-2006. She worked on the Sesquicentennial Steering Committee and the Welcome Team pilot project. This year she will serve as an usher and a member of Rev. Elaine Aron Tenbrink’s Ministerial Reflections Committee. Marcia joined the Pledge Team to continue to “give, receive and grow” our church.
